Is there any format for the Research or Technology Development Plan?

Yes. It should be a maximum of 5 pages; single space; 12 pt Times New Roman or Arial; Include the title, significance, and a description of the expected contribution or accomplishment; Include a description of the related work by others and their relevance to your plan.

Does the requirement of a maximum of 5 pages for the research plan include references?

No. The page limit of a maximum of 5 does not include references.

Is there any time period for this grant?

Yes. The time period of the KSEA Young Investigator Grant is for 1 year.

How can I ask my references to send the letters?

The reference letters should be submitted to KSEA HQ directly from your recommender via email to sejong@ksea.org in a pdf format with e-signature.

I got my degree in December 2017. Am I still eligible for the grant?

No. To apply for this grant, the Ph.D. should have been received on or after Jan 1, 2018.

Should I be a KSEA member to apply for the scholarship?
